According to the public relations report of Zagros
Petrochemical Company, the fifth Iranian Methanol Seminar was held on Sunday,
October 30, 1402 with the presence of CEOs of holdings, CEOs and members of the
board of directors of companies, managers and experts of the methanol industry
in the hall of the Tehran International Broadcasting Conference Center in order
to Creation of unity, synergy and convergence, cooperation and participation as
much as possible between the production companies and methanol projects were held
with the axes of: production and technical technologies, innovation and future
research, and trading and sales of methanol.
At the beginning of this seminar, Dr. Matin Didari, CEO and
Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zagros Petrochemical Company, as the
host, gave a welcome speech and also presented a report on the state of the
methanol market in the world and Iran, in words of convergence, mutual
understanding and unity in the Iranian methanol industry. They expressed their
hope that by holding continuous meetings, we can take effective steps in the
development of our beloved country, Islamic Iran, and we can open the problems
and knots of this industry and move towards completing the product value chain.
Dr. Didari stated that considering the licenses issued for
polypropylene projects in the country and also the lack of propylene feed
currently in the country, which has caused the production complexes to produce
polypropylene with a capacity of about 70%, there is no doubt a move towards
the methanol product completion chain and launch MTP and MTO projects will be
the only way to develop petrochemical products and provide feedstock for future
polypropylene projects, and we hope to complete the methanol product chain with
the help of the respected government and synergy.
Among the other speakers of this specialized seminar were
Dr. Mahdavi, the head of the Petrochemical Industry Employers Association, and
